We take your (yes your!) data privacy seriously. We ask for only the least amount of information necessary, gather only what we believe is essential for doing business, or for the specific tasks at hand.

As our commitment to data privacy: we don't serve any ads. We don't sell data - not a single bit of it. We always keep users informed about what data we collect, and how we process that. Crystal clear communications, all the time.

We try to make this policy as simple as possible to understand. No hidden meanings only straight-forward information.

In this policy, we have noted down: what data we collect, how your data is handled.

This policy applies to all the applications and websites built and maintained by Work'sTruly.

What data we collect and why


Information you provide


Account Sign Up

When you sign up for a Work'sTruly product, we ask for information like your name, email address, company industry, company name, company team size, company type, and company address. That’s just so you can personalize your new account, and we can send you invoices, updates, or other essential information. You'll also be required to choose a password for accessing the created account. While signing up, you will also have to choose a security question and an answer to the security question — they will be used only while resetting your password. We’ll never sell your info to third parties, and we won’t use your name or company in marketing statements without your permission either.


Payment Details

When you pay for a Work'sTruly product, we ask for your email address, organisation name, and billing address. It enable us to charge you for service, calculate taxes, and send you invoices. Your payment is handled by our payment processor and doesn't ever go through our servers. We store a record of the payment transaction, and details, for account history, invoicing, billing support, and to detect fraudulent transactions.


Interactions with us

When you write us, we keep that correspondence, including the email address, so that we have a history of past correspondences to reference if you reach out in the future. We may record, analyze, and use your interactions with us, including email, telephone, and chat conversations with our sales and customer support professionals, for improving our interactions with you and other customers.
We also store any information like product feedbacks, bug reports, and feature requirements. Sometimes when we do customer interviews, we may ask for your permission to record the conversation for future references.

Information collected automatically


Geolocation Data

We log all access to all accounts by full IP address, device name, device mac address so that we can always verify no unauthorized access has happened. We keep this login data for as long as your product account is active. We also log the above-mentioned information used to sign up for a product account. We keep this record forever because they are used to mitigate spammy signups.
When you visit our websites, we collect information that web browsers, mobile devices, and servers make available, such as the internet protocol address, browser type, language preference, time zone, referring URL, date and time of access, operating system, mobile device manufacturer, mobile network information and location. We also record clicks, scrolls, access time and frequency to help to study user behavior.

Information processed on your behalf

You may entrust information that you or your organization (“you”) control, to Work'sTruly in connection with the use of our services or for requesting technical support for our products. This includes and not limited to the information regarding your customers, sale orders, money transactions and your employees etc. The data may either be stored on our servers when you use our services, or transferred or shared to us as part of a request for technical support or other services.


All the information entrusted to Work'sTruly is collectively termed “service data”


Ownership and control of your service data

We recognize that you own your service data. We provide you complete control of your service data by providing you the ability to access your service data and request export or deletion of your service data.

We process your service data when you provide us instructions through the various modules of our services. For example, when you generate a sale order, customer information and selling item information will be used to generate the sale order; and when you use our SMS or email marketing module, the mobile numbers and email addresses of the customers will be used for sending messages and emails.

When we access or share your data


We don't intend to access or share your data but in the following mentioned cases we may need to do so.


To provide products or services you've requested

We do use some third-party services to run our applications and only to the extent necessary process some or all of your data via these third parties.
We limit access to your account data to our employees who have a legitimate need to use it. If we share your information with other parties (like developers, quality analysts), they must have appropriate security measures and a valid reason for using your information, typically to serve you.
We ensure that access by our employees to your account data is restricted to specific individuals, and is logged and audited. Our employees will also have access to data that you knowingly share with us for technical support or to import data into our products or services. We communicate our privacy and security guidelines to our employees and strictly enforce privacy safeguards within the Work'sTruly company.


To help you troubleshoot or squash a software bug, with your permission

If at any point we need to access your account to help you with a Support case, we will ask for your consent before proceeding.


To investigate, prevent, or take action regarding restricted uses

Accessing a customer’s account when investigating potential abuse is a measure of last resort. We must protect the privacy and safety of both our customers and the people reporting issues to us. We do our best to balance those responsibilities throughout the process. If we do discover you are using our products for a restricted purpose, we will report the incident to the appropriate authorities.


When required under applicable law

We will disclose your account data if it's necessary to comply with a legal obligation, prevent fraud, enforce an agreement, or protect our users' safety.
If the appropriate law enforcement authorities have the necessary warrant, criminal subpoena, or court order requiring we share data, we have to comply. Otherwise, we reject requests from local and federal law enforcement when they seek data. And unless we’re legally prevented from it, we’ll always inform you when such requests are made.

How we secure your data


We have taken steps to implement appropriate administrative, technical & physical safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, use, modification, disclosure, or destruction of the information you entrust to us.
All data is encrypted via SSL/TLS when transmitted from our servers to your devices. Most data are not encrypted while they live in our database (since it needs to be ready to send to you when you need it), but we go to great lengths to secure your data at rest.

When you delete data in your account


We hold the data in your account as long as you choose to use Work'sTruly Services.
We give you the option to trash data through service modules and applications. Anything you trash on service data will get deleted immediately meaning that you can not restore service data after deleting.
After you terminate your account or your account gets cancelled automatically, your account data will be deleted from our active servers and our backups within 30 days after that. If you change your mind you’ll need to restore your data before your data are deleted from our active servers and our backups.

Location of Site and Data


Our products and other web properties are operated in India. If you are located outside of India, please be aware that any information you provide to us will be transferred to India. By accessing or using our products and services or otherwise providing personal information or service data to us, you consent to the processing, transfer, and storage of your account data within India.

External links on our websites


Some pages of our websites and applications may contain links to websites that are not linked to this Privacy Policy. If you submit your personal information to any of these third-party sites, your personal information is governed by their privacy policies. As a safety measure, we recommend that you not share any personal information with these third parties unless you've checked their privacy policies and assured yourself of their privacy practices.

Compliance, changes, notifications, and questions


We make every effort, including periodic reviews, to ensure that data you provide is used in conformity with this Privacy Policy.
We may modify the Privacy Policy at any time, upon notifying you through a service announcement or by sending an email to your primary email address. You will not receive email notification of minor changes to the Privacy Policy.
